The mind is a powerful tool. It can make you achieve things you never imagined you could, but it can also destroy you and you'll never see it coming.

But i guess, The Creator is fair after all. He gave us Heart. Just as the republicans and the democratics, or the knight and the rook, or perhaps like fire and water, the heart is just as powerful as the mind is. One will be the dominion and another the follower at a time, or for some, the positions remain through their life time.

If one chooses ignorance, one never learns that when the mind takes complete control over you, the only way to get out of it is to use your heart, guiding you through emotional ties. Similarly, when the heart takes complete control over you, the only way to get out of it is to use your mind, through rationing, logic, and experience. The same applies for any other situations. I'm sure all of us are constantly in a situation whereby either the heart or the mind takes a rightful control over our behaviour or actions which are wrong/unfruitful.

Right here, now, i figured the ultimate practise to control ourselves is to balance out the authority between the heart and mind, have them as check and balance sucho that one does not overpower the other. Because if either is absent, you'll know where you're heading for..
