I was over at a meeting yesterday with fellow SRC members for 5 bloody hours..

The meeting was loooooong and boring, but well, i was glad i joined some of the SRs for dinner later that night when we ended the meeting at 8.30pm. Honestly, that time there wasn't many of us left.. it was only the 5 of us, so we headed for New Paris in SS2.

Honestly, i'm glad i joined SRC. I never knew of so many amazing people.. People who are really capable with work and so much more.

Particularly, Ivan the vice for Sg Long SRC is someone i'd describe as loud.. if you know him as a friend. Also, being a very humorous guy, he had kept us entertained through the night (at the same time, non stop of eating lol). He made me and tat weren't as awkward being around them even though we didn't even know each other then, not even by name. Or at least they didn't know ours. Seriously. But if you think Ivan's some kind of typical class joker type.. Wait until you witness when he's serious.

Anyway, I was going to write on what Ivan told us about when we had dinner yesterday. Consider me lucky.. I only hung out with him once and he happened to tell us about this thing called Neuro-Liguistic Programming or the NLP, which appear to have made him the person he now is. He managed to give a brief and subtle example of what NLP does, though we got over the topic easily as none of us had any clue about it. One thing though, he told us that if we ever get a chance to go for such a training or course for NLP, DO take it no matter what it takes, even if it costs shortening your lifespan into half.

Intrigued, i came home and searched for it over the internet. This is what i found which describes what NLP is:

Btw, i'm putting this up because i want to share this with people i know.

I had managed to search for some e-books regarding NLP as well, but haven't got the time to look into it.. till then, who knows some of you may know more about it than me lol.

It seems with NLP.. everything is possible. Better learning, better communication, mind reading, mind control, brain washing, etc etc.. And most of all? It says it's simple to learn. Seems to me like the basics of the basics that we've long missed.. Right now though, i'm still curious as to how it works. Hopefully one day soon i will. I swear i'll never miss the chance of going to one of this talk or course if i get the chance to.

And honestly? There are soooo many things in this world out there that we are not exposed to.. I guess, that's why meeting diverse people is one of the easiest way to get out of our puny circle and expand our miniature world..
