Too many people seem to associate these:

New Year, New beginning.

Why not New day, new beginning? Or New month, new beginning? After all, it's still a change to the calendar, no? Don't people write a different date for every day, every month?

Or is it because one day, one month is comparitively too short as compared to one year?

Because, once you past a day, you can go back to the same day on the next month. Once you past a month, you can go back to the same month on the next year. But you can't go through the same year twice.

And because, too many things could happen in a year.

Ironically, i probably had the most unproductive year of my life in 2007.

9 months of holiday. Despite having 14 weeks of classes, it felt as though time had stalled since January 2007, until it continued ticking again this year..

Partly because, he finally talked to me again. After 355 days. 

If i were to say there wasn't a void at all until recently, i'd be lying. I can't deny the surge of different emotions the day he messaged me;
Relieve. Anger. Sadness. 

However, later, i only felt too great it's finally over..
I never thought it'd be.

I guess, patience do pay off. Heee :D

Well, since it's the new beginning, i vow to try to keep my new year resolutions :P (list not ordered):

1. Be nicer to my parents, grandma and brother

2. Maintain in President's list

3. Make my kitteh happy :D

4. Hopefully.. learn better how to be more independent. Cooking? keep my stuffs organized.. lol ><
