prejudgement.

"People don't write when they're happy."

So damned true.

Honestly, I think i hvn't been giving in much thoughts into anything at all these days.. And sad to say, i'm not even studying enough for my finals =/ It's always either i'm out or i'm on the comp... Enjoyyyy. MEH. (even writing this entry took me days ><)
And my blog has more pictures than ever. All the happenings, lame jokes and whatnots. I'm happy. Word.
:D

*~*~*

You know how we always think someone's appearance and actions can tell you a lot about the person?

-

I've always think my prejudgement about someone is rather accurate, when it comes to what kind of person he/she is, whether he/she is cocky, materialistic, fun, friendly, nice, whichever. I don't deny these prejudgements to be very minimal surficial inferences of how this person is like, but they are usually right. I guarantee at least 90% of it.

But what missing, is an intricate puzzle of truths.
Unknown stories. Behind-the-scenes.

Who are they, really?

Seriously, like kev has indicated, sometimes from a 3rd person point of view, i don't think we'll ever see ourselves as the way we know ourselves. So many hidden complicating truths. We are not who we may seem to be.

And there is more than meets the eyes..

-

Now, i have a confession to make:
I tend to draw conclusions about a certain type of people and stereotype them as the same. I mean, no offense. From how some people speak and act, you can just tell how shallow their minds are. zz.

Of course again, there's a 10% possibility that i'd be wrong.

But i do admit, i can have different attitudes and manners when dealing with people of different kinds. There are, times (within the 10% possibility), that i feel bad for stereotyping some people and treat them, 'mean', i guess =/
That is, until i got to know them better.

And i don't deny that i'd been living in ignorance for many years, in a way. For years, i've been generally stereotyping everyone to be as lucky as i am, in the very general sense. I believed that all of my peers are the same, as in they have a good family, financially stable, going through the same routine life and facing similar typical teenage problems. Which is why, sometimes i commit the 10% mistake.

We tend to overlook.

In fact, here in my blog, most of you readers think this way: That i don't even sound like what you all perceived of me in real life. And i know, it's not only me. I think everyone has their very own story to tell.. only if you would lend him/her your ears to listen.

Then again, sometimes it's better not to know. What you know extra would have led you to an entirely different perspective of the person, a worse one maybe. Again, i don't deny i sometimes jump into conclusion easily; I 'think' i already know most of him/her when in fact i only know slightly better.

Meh. Can't help stereotyping can we?

(and i think my points are scattered all around the place so i shall stop :p)

Anyways. I have something to share :D~

The other day, my mum came back from work and grocery shopping, she was like telling me she went giant and saw there was promotion for ayam brand tunas. Some Merdeka promotion. Apparently, there was also a promoter there promoting it, so he was like showing her, if you buy 1 stretch, you'll get one of this, for free:

Well, you know la typical housewives.
So she took a stretch of it.

At the counter after she paid for all the goods, they gave her her free gift.
Guess what she realised..
