food for thought.
Tagged under: Anatomy of life

It's half past twelve midnight and something growls.

You know you had to do something.. in order to get yourself...

SUPPER!!
(wheeeee~ x))

Yet, you were too lazy to change from your pyjamas to drive out and buy some food.. Eventhough you might be craving for the ramli burger or char kuey teow from ss15.

So you went out of the room, hoping for someone to be there to cook something warm for you... Someone was there.
And you had yummy pizza :)

*~*~*

10 minutes to 1am the next day. Supper calls, yet again.

You decided to cook something for yourself, this time. But, cooking for just yourself, feels pretty empty (it really does). Even after, you'll eat alone..
So you made a double for someone else.

Together, both of you had indomie.. :)

*~*~*

The midnight after the next, minutes over 1.

You weren't feeling hungry but it would have been nice to have something warm and nice to eat, no?

That's when the room door opened, and someone asked if you want to eat anything; She'd cook for you, anything you want.

On different days, you have spaghetti, mushroom soup, fried beehun, fried rice etc etc..
And each of that moment, you feel like you're the happiest person on earth. As the 3 of you sit down and have supper together.. :) :)

*~*~*

You know, i always think that it's a blessing to cook for someone and have someone to cook for you. Really.
Only if it's related to yummy food, that is, though... hahaha. Joking-lah.

As late-nighters, my family often have late suppers. And unless one of us was out late to tapau food back, sometimes my bro would cook for me, sometimes i would for him, and sometimes, my mum would cook for all of us. :)

And somehow, it's just this little thing that makes me feel happiness, every time.
not forgetting the eat together part =)

PS: i love my mummy! She's the best cook x)

*~*~*

And then, here's also another story.

Being assigned to stay overseas, it'd be heavens still, if whichever place you were thrown to, has good food, or at least something that suits your taste buds.

But just so happen, it wasn't. It wasn't your choice, after all.

The best part is, he doesn't know how to cook!! Any food there is expensive for non-yummy food. And i really mean non-yummy-AT-ALL. The worst was when 4 out of 7 days he actually had only cup noodles for dinner.. for a few weeks i guess? Until he finally learned to cook some ABC soup noodles for himself.. But then again, everyday ABC soup noodles? =/

There are however, people who would sometimes cook for them (him and others like him). But you have to admit, when people cook for you, you can't just tell straight to her face that her cooking isn't nice. Or sometimes, being too dependent on them, people can get frustrated; what of the times they decided they're too lazy to cook.. eh?

Starve. hm.

Fact based on my daddy's testimony xD! He's in India on work. lol.
he's coming back on the 30th for a few days :D~~

*~*~*

Heh. So now here's the food for thought.
Why don't you learn to cook something nice for yourself and somebody already, eh?

PS to guys who can cook good food:
I'll personally go after you xD!
